Authorization: What Is It?

 

B. B. R. (The Swedish Yacht Surveyors Association) is the industry organization for marine surveyors, established in January 1985. Authorization requires membership and is directly tied to it.

The Purposes of Authorization

Authorization serves several critical functions within the profession:Swedish Yacht 

• Formalizing Competence: It establishes the strict competence requirements necessary to obtain an authorization.

• An Authorization Committee responsible for reviewing and verifying the applicant's competence
